[12-09-2024] Orange County, CA – Car Crash in Anaheim Leaves 8 People Injured

Anaheim, Orange County – Anaheim authorities are investigating a crash that left eight individuals injured, including a woman driving with two young children in her vehicle.

According to Sgt. Matt Sutter of the Anaheim Police Department, the incident occurred late Sunday night around 10:40 p.m. at the intersection of Harbor Boulevard and Victor Avenue.

Sutter stated that two high-speed BMWs traveling south on Harbor Boulevard collided with a compact SUV heading north.

All eight victims sustained injuries, though they are expected to recover. The SUV driver, who was critically injured, was transported to a local hospital but is anticipated to survive, Sutter added. Her two children, both under the age of 10, were in the backseat at the time of the crash.

Authorities are examining whether street racing may have played a role in the collision, Sutter noted.
